Everyone is aware of the "Baby Shark" song
now, but did you know that it's a great
song to introduce your child or younger
sibling to the piano with?
Come over to the piano and I'll show you how to play it.
Start by forming a woodpecker shape with your right hand.
With your left hand
use pointer finger and middle finger.
The song will start on your middle finger.
You'll sing ♫Baby♫
and then your right hand will do the 'doo doo' rhythm.
♫shark doo doo doo doo doo doo, Baby shark doo doo doo doo doo doo♫
♫Baby shark doo doo doo doo doo doo, baby shark♫
Make sure to sing along, it's a lot easier.
Now place
your hands on the piano.
You'll see patterns of three,
and patterns of two.
We're
going to look for a pattern of 3
and then find the outside note that's F.
We'll place our right hand there in our woodpecker shape.
Then our left hand will
come up right next to it so we don't overlap,
but no notes are missing.
and we start with our 3 finger in our left hand.

Remember to have good posture at the piano.
Left hand fingers curved, wrist flat, and bounce
your wrist when you play the notes.
♫Baby♫
♫Baby♫
With your right hand you're in a
woodpecker shape so you can't bounce
your wrist as much, but you can still use
your arm.

♫Daddy shark doo doo doo doo doo doo♫

And then the key is to create as many sharks as you possibly can
and as many verses
as you possibly can
before you start running away and then you get to safety. That's the funnest way.
